We would highly recommend Plehal Blacktopping. They were only 1 of 2 companies that even took the time to get back to us with a quote. They were prompt with their response and three weeks after we contacted them they were out to tear up our driveway and a week and half later they came back to install the blacktop. As you can see we have brick pavers on both sides of the driveway. They installed the asphalt right up against them and did such a beautiful job. We recommended them to a co-worker and a neighbor and both are going to have Plehal install their driveways also. I took the time to look at their BBB rating and read their reviews and I have no doubt we picked the right company to do the job!!! Thank you Plehal for doing such professional work!!!

I had Jeff from Plehal give me an estimate on a new driveway. He offered suggestions and advice and came back promptly with a very fare estimate for my large driveway. As you can see from photo, it looks very spacious. I scheduled it for September and they were able to do it while I was on vacation. So I and my dog weren’t around for the noise or mess. I was thrilled with the result. Friends, neighbors and family also very impressed. I can’t recommend them enough. The crew left the yard clean, office staff friendly and helpful, Jeff easy to work with and answered all my questions.

We’ve used Plehal twice for driveway installation. We had to customize curves built with a boulder wall. They did a great job making sure the asphalt was properly tamped down near the boulder edge. I also appreciate Plehal’s integrity. They stand behind their work.

Plehal came with good references from neighbors. Their estimate was reasonable. We had plenty of advanced warning about the first visit, to remove the old asphalt and prepare the base. Six days later they arrived as planned to lay the new driveway. Amazingly, on both days the procedures took less than 2 hours each. We received detailed information about the early and long-term care of our nice new driveway.

This organization did a fantastic job of replacing a 30 year old driveway. They remove 7″ of whatever was under the old asphalt and replaced it with 4 or 5″ of new base and a compacted layer of asphalt creating a great new surface. Jesse led the excavation crew and took the time to go through the entire process with me. I’m completely satisfied. Nice Job!
